LeTV is back with a new smartphone that looks like the iPhone 13: All the details

Remember LeTV, the Chinese company that launched some smartphones, had a TV and even aspired to make an electric car? Yes, the same brand is now making a comeback in the market with the LeTV Y1 Pro smartphone. This entry-level smartphone has been launched in China this week, and it is unlikely that we will see it in other markets.

The LeTV Y1 Pro has basic hardware that’s hardly attractive, except for the design that has shades of the iPhone 13 about it. You see sharp edges with the wide notch at the top of the screen and the dual camera module sloping at the back. Even the color options are similar, especially the shades of blue and black.

LeTV Y1 Pro is an affordable phone that costs around Rs 6,000 in the market and is powered by Unisoc T310 chipset. The phone has a 6.5-inch HD + display that offers 720×1560 pixels resolution.

The hardware setup includes 4GB of RAM and you have 32GB, 128G and 256GB of storage. LeTV has also dropped the fingerprint sensor on this device, instead, you get the software-centric face unlock option, which isn’t very secure on Android. The rear cameras are an 8-megapixel primary sensor along with an AI sensor. A 5 megapixel camera is available in the front of the phone.

The LeTV Y1 Pro runs on Android 11 version, and we don’t know whether it will get Android 12 or even Android 13 in this case. The phone comes with a 4000mAh battery that can be charged at 10W using the built-in USB Type C interface.
