The Congress, which cannot face it, has started this campaign and at the end of the election, all they will be left with are flowers.”

Congress pulls up BJP for commenting

Meanwhile, All India Congress Committee General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala accused the BJP of insulting Karnataka and India. “It is anti-national. They (BJP) are daring to make fun of the people of Karnataka and India. I challenge JP Nadda, who is here today, to take action against Nalin Kumar Kateel,” Surjewala said.

Congress spokesperson Priyank Kharge asked Kateel to examine history before leveling allegations against the opposition. “He (Qateel) seems clueless. He doesn’t have the strength to go against his own allies when his own people are attacking him.”

However, former CM and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy termed Congress’ ‘Kiwi Mele Hova’ campaign as nothing but a gimmick to gain prominence on social media.
