Lehsuni Bhindi Recipe: Ingredients

Bhindi – 500 grams
Onion – 2 (chopped)
Garlic cloves – 20 (finely chopped)
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Dry red chili – 7
Curd – 2 tbsp
Tomato – 2 (chopped)
Asafoetida – a pinch
Coriander powder – half tsp
salt – as per taste
Dry ginger powder – 1/2 tsp
Mustard oil – half cup

How to make Spicy Garlic Bhindi

  • To make Spicy Garlic Bhindi, first of all you have to take Bhindi and wash and clean it properly.
  • After this, cut the okra into small pieces.
  • Then cut onions, tomatoes and dry red chillies in a bowl and keep them separately.
  • After this, take a pan and put half a cup of oil in it and keep it for heating.
  • Then when the oil becomes hot, put half a teaspoon of cumin in it and temper it.
  • After this add chopped onion, chopped tomato and chopped okra and mix it well.
  • Then add chopped garlic cloves, 2 teaspoons curd, half teaspoon dry ginger powder, a pinch of asafoetida, salt as per taste.
  • After this, let it cook on low flame for at least ten minutes.
  • After this, turn off the gas and then you can serve it with roti or paratha.
