the wait is over. It is the beginning of a new year for the fans of Pan India Star Vijay Deverakonda. The much awaited glimpse of LIGER (Sala Crossbreed) is out. Director Puri Jagannath, who is known for portraying his heroes in stylish best avatars, shows Vijay Deverakonda in a never-before-seen action avatar in this big budget pan India project. The first glimpse of Liger begins with an MMA commentator introducing the actor as Liger giving all heights to his character. “Introducing the boy of India… the slum dog of the streets of Mumbai… Chai Wala… Liger…”

Vijay Deverakonda speaks two short but impressive dialogues in the video. “We are Indians,” he says reflecting his love for the country. He actually enters wearing the Indian flag. And the second dialogue, “Vat Laga Denge”, defines his aggressive attitude.

The scenes are full of breathtaking stunt sequences. In fact, full emphasis has been placed on Vijay Deverakonda who appears in a stylish avatar like never before. Going through a tremendous makeover, Vijay looks like a beast with a chiseled physique and sports an entirely new cornrow hairdo with a ponytail. This is indeed the best look ever for the actor.

As per the teaser, the film is about a slumdog from the streets of Mumbai becoming a champion in MMA (mixed martial arts) sport. However, the journey looks very inspiring. Vijay’s punches catch fire. We feel the adrenaline rush in just a glimpse and we can adore what kind of height the film gives.

Ramya Krishna appears as Vijay’s mother, while Ronit Roy appears as his coach. We don’t see any other artist in the first glimpse. It has offered a perfect New Year’s present for action movie lovers. Vijay is brilliant as an MMA fighter and the character looks specially prepared for him. The sound he makes gives an authentic feel to the action sequences.

Liger is set to be one of the biggest action shows in India as it stars legend Mike Tyson in a powerful role. Fans and cinema lovers are waiting with bated breath to watch the real action on the big screen.
