Leaked US documents suspect shared info earlier than previously known

The New York Times reported Friday that the US Air National Guardsmen had accused a small group of gamers of leaking classified documents that were previously known and linked to a larger chat group, citing online postings reviewed by the newspaper. Than were posting sensitive information months ago.

In February 2022, shortly after the invasion of Ukraine, a user profile matching Airman Jack Teixeira began posting secret intelligence on the Russian war effort to a previously undisclosed chat group on the social platform Discord, the newspaper reported, 600 members about to add to the group.
