Madhya Pradesh will have a law against organized crime.
The Madhya Pradesh government will enact a law to tackle organized crime, Home Minister Narottam Mishra said here on Saturday.
He told reporters that the proposed “Madhya Pradesh Gangster Prevention Bill” would provide for 10 years jail term for gangsters and attachment of their properties.
He said that the purpose of the law would be to deal with liquor mafia, land mafia, mining mafia, forest mafia and those running casinos.
