Actress Mandira Bedi’s husband and filmmaker Raj Kaushal passed away on Wednesday at the age of 49. Raj’s death was confirmed by a close friend of the family. He also told that Raj had a heart attack at 4:30 in the morning. Raj breathed his last in the hospital.
At 11 o’clock Raj’s last journey came out of his house, some photos and videos of which are also going viral. In these photos, Mandira Bedi can be seen crying bitterly. In many photos and videos, Mandira was seen shouldering her husband’s body.
Started career as an actor
Celebrities have been paying tribute to Raj by sharing posts on social media ever since the news of Raj’s death came out. Raj started his career as an actor. After this, he also directed films like ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’, ‘Shaadi Ka Laddu’ and ‘Anthony Kaun Hai’ in his career.
Mandira and Raj were married on 14 February 1999. Both have a son and a daughter. Raj and Mandira adopted daughter Tara only last year. Mandira and Raj first met in 1996 at Mukul Anand’s house. Mandira had reached there to audition and Raj was working as an assistant to Mukul Anand. This is where the love of both of them started.
Rohit Roy mourns
Condoling Raj’s demise, Rohit Bose Roy shared the post on social media and wrote, “Raj, my friend, my brother. Wherever you are, keep spreading happiness. Knowing your penchant for good homes, I am sure. Is that you must be looking for a good place in heaven right now. We all loved you dearly and you know we kept saying we will meet next week to meet you unfortunately, but that week never came. See you across My brother.” Rohit has also shared a photo with Raj in this post.
