With her caption, Sushmita indirectly took a jibe at the trolls for criticizing their relationship choices. While Lalit Modi, who was mocked for tagging Sushmita’s parody account in his announcement post, also took to the photo-sharing application and gave an epic response.

For those unaware, on Thursday, Lalit Modi took to social media to share pictures with his “better looking partner” Sushmita Sen while talking about returning from a global tour. He tweeted: “Family back with #Maldives #Sardinia after a dizzying global tour in London – not to mention my #better looking partner @sushmitasen47 – A fresh start A new life at the end. Over the moon. In love right now Doesn’t mean marriage. But a definitely.”
However, his tweet created confusion among netizens as they assumed that Lalit Modi has tied the knot with Sushmita. In no time, Lalit Modi released another tweet to clear the air and wrote that the two are just dating, “not married.” “Just for clarity. Not married – just dating each other. That too will happen one day,” his post read.
Lalit Modi was earlier married to Minal Sagarani, whom he married in October 1991. They had two children together – son Ruchir and daughter Alia. Karima is also Sagarani’s stepfather from Lalit Minal’s first marriage. Unfortunately, Meenal lost her life to cancer in 2018.
At the same time, Sushmita was in a relationship with the model. Rohman Shawley, whom she met via Instagram in 2018, but broke up with her last year. She is the mother of two adopted daughters Renee and Alisa.
