But the young Indian came back in remarkable fashion to close the gap at 15-17 and then 17-19. They leveled the score at 19-19 and then 20-20 before sealing the match with two consecutive points.
In the quarterfinals, Sen defeated fellow Indian and former top 10 player HS Prannoy 21-15, 21-16.
