With a prime mix of digital showcases and live shows, this season’s physical edition features JJ Valaya, AK-OK by Anamika Khanna, Abraham and Thakor, MXS by Monisha Jaisingh and a host of renowned designers including Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Tarun Tahiliani, Satya series will be Paul by Rajesh Pratap Singh, Pankaj and Nidhi, Troy Costa, Reena Dhaka and Gaurang. The live shows will be held from October 7 to October 10 at the Jio World Convention Center (JWCC), Mumbai’s commercial hub Bandra-Kurla Complex.

Lakme Fashion Week has always been the home of sustainable fashion. This season will see three live shows presented by Gaurang, Satya Paul by Rajesh Pratap Singh and Abraham and Thakor. The third day, dedicated to all things sustainable, will also feature a range of digital showcases including Eka, Kokkan among others.

FDCI x Pearl Academy’s Emerging Talent Show for The Pot Plant, with a focus on giving opportunities to new and emerging talent, digital showcase includes INIFD presentation for the winners of Gen Next by Deepit Chugh and Twinkle Hanspal and Naushad Ali and SWGT Nexa Spotlight Showcase.
Colour, texture and celebration
Every runway is brought to life with multiple facets such as the eclectic ensemble, hair and makeup and vibe. All set to give fashionistas a hair-raising story, Lakme Salon x Chola by designer Sohaya Mishra will see her collection complementing unique hairstyles that embrace layers and texture. Similarly, there are collections by Nirmoha, Jade by Monica and Karishma, Nikita Mhaisalkar, and Shruti Sancheti to add a riot of color to the festivities on the runway.
