Lucknow: Its investigation continues Lakhimpur Kheri Violence in which eight people including four farmers were killed by a police team of Lakhimpur Kheri A pistol and a repeater gun were recovered from Hussainganj FI Apartments in Lucknow on Friday.
special investigation team (SIT) sources said in whose name the pistol is issued Ankit DasWhile the repeater gun license is in the name of Latif, who is Ankit’s bodyguard.

Both Ankit Das and Latif were arrested on October 13 and then produced before a magistrate, who remanded them to judicial custody till October 22. Later, the SIT sought their custody, which began on October 14 and would continue till October 17.
A source close to the investigation revealed that the recovered weapons would be sent for forensic examination.

The SIT also collected the digital video recorder of CCTV of a hotel where Ankit Das stayed after the October 3 violence in Kheri.
Ankit Das is the nephew of former MP Akhilesh Das. Akhilesh Das was a Congress MP and served as National General Secretary in Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
Looks close to Ankit Das Ashish Mishra Also his father according to his Facebook account. He was reported to be in one of the SUVs which reportedly collided with the farmers that day.
