Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra ‘Theni’, was arrested on Saturday after nearly 12 hours of interrogation in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. He was produced in the court after midnight, from where he was sent to jail in judicial custody. The judicial magistrate has sent Ashish to 14-day judicial custody in Lakhimpur Kheri district jail.
