Kutty OTT Release: For those waiting to watch Kutty on a streaming platform, the Aasman Bhardwaj-directed film will be streaming on Netflix from March 10. Crime Caper Kutty was released in cinema halls on 13 January. The film marked the directorial debut of the acclaimed filmmaker Vishal BhardwajSon of Aasman Bhardwaj.
Produced by Vishal Bhardwaj Films, Luv Films and T-Series Films, the film opened to mixed reviews from the audience and critics upon release and thus failed to attract masses to the theaters and collected only Rs 4.65 crore in its lifetime. Could only earn run at the box office. Since the film is directed by the veteran director’s son, it was compared to Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey starrer. Shahid Kapoor And Priyanka Chopra, Interestingly, Vishal Bhardwaj, who composed and directed Kaminey, also composed the music for Kutty and recreated the Kaminey title track in the film Aasmaan.
Sharing his views on it, Vishal shared with PTI, “I knew the film was going to be compared to Kaminey, but Aasman has its own voice and I have my own. Caper films are a difficult genre. We can keep it going.” This genre and the next film that we are making could be Kutty Kaminey where all these characters are similar to each other. It would be great to see Shahid, Tabu, Arjun and all of them together in a film.
