Talking about the comparison of the Australian spinners with the Indian spinners, Lyon said that he and his young teammates are focused to carve out a niche for themselves.

“We want to own our place, learn from Indian people, they are the legends here India But we want to make our place. I’m really proud of this bunch (spinners),” he said.

Lyon also talked about bowling against quality Indian batsmen.

“I was happy with the way I bowled in Nagpur and knew the quality I was up against. These guys have played a lot, so knew the challenges,” Lyon said.
