Even though Madgaon Expresses opened slowly at the box office, it is now witnessing some growth. As reported by Sancilk.com, Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut witnessed a slight increase in its collection on day 3 i.e. on Sunday, March 24. Early estimates suggest that the film earned Rs 2.85 crore on Sunday, taking its total collection to over Rs 7 crore now. The film has also received positive reviews from critics and the audiences alike. Kunal Kemmu expressed his gratitude to everyone for showering love for his directorial debut.
On Sunday, Kunal Kemmu took to social media to share a series of behind-the-scenes pictures with the cast and crew of his latest film. He expressed his gratitude, stating, “From the first day of shooting to the last day I called ‘pack up’ on the sets of Madgaon Express, every moment was uniquely special. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without my incredible team of actors and technicians.”
He continued, elaborating on the personal and professional growth he experienced through the film, “This movie has allowed me to explore the various shades of friendship and the different aspects of my personality. Madgaon Express tells the story of a memorable Goa trip made by three childhood friends, portrayed by Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, and Avinash Tiwary, and the ensuing adventures and challenges they face. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, the film explores themes of friendship and self-discovery.
