The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has commenced the SSLC, or Class 10 final exams on March 25. The board exams will end on April 6. On January 17, KSEAB issued the final SSLC exam timetable. The Karnataka Board Class 10 exams are being held in a single shift, from 10.15 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. In the latest, in the Yadagiri district, a mother-son duo is appearing for the exam together.

The Karnataka School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa has said that more than 8.9 lakh kids have enrolled for the SSLC (class 10) exams. KSEAB issued the Karnataka SSLC hall ticket 2024 on March 6, 2024. The Karnataka Class 10 hall ticket has the student’s information printed like the student’s name, roll number, exam dates, exam venue, timings, etc. Students must bring their exam hall tickets to the examination hall. Any technological equipment, including calculators and mobile phones, as well as unfair means, are not permitted in the exam hall. The examination is being held in 2,750 centres, and the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has decided to livestream the procedure and monitor it with app-based CCTV cameras this year to prevent misconduct.

As per a Deccan Herald report, the daughter, Kushi, completed the SSLC exam with a distinction. Her mother, Mamatha, qualified for the exam. Mamatha couldn’t finish her SSLC 21 years ago, so she decided to try again. The mother was overjoyed that she had passed the exams and would pursue her dream of becoming an anganwadi worker. Reportedly, the minimal requirement for becoming an Anganwadi worker is the SSLC examination. She had been working as an anganwadi helper at Kuthar Ucchil and was an active member of the Jai Hanuman Kreeda Mahila Sanghatane.
