Looks like the industry’s famous maternal uncle-nephews Govinda and Krushna Abhishek are in no mood to rectify their issues any time soon!
Krishna has once again pulled out of the shooting of the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show featuring his maternal uncle (Uncle) Govinda. This is the second time that Krishna has refrained from coming face-to-face with Govinda and his wife Sunita on The Kapil Sharma Show. . The two have had a strained relationship for the past few years.
In a recent interview to The Times of India, Krishna has confirmed that he will not star in the upcoming episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show, adding that he is trying to adjust to the show as well as his upcoming film. Huh. While he has usually been able to do so, he decided not to change the dates of the special episodes featuring Govinds.
He said, “For the last 15 days I have been taking off between Raipur and Mumbai to shoot for my film and Kapil’s show. I will always go the extra mile to adjust my dates for the show. However, when I know It turned out that he will be seen as a celebrity guest in the upcoming episode, so I didn’t want to be a part of it, so I didn’t try to accommodate my dates. I believe both the parties don’t want to share a stage.
Krishna said he was not sure ‘who could blow up the statement’. “It will be from my side as well as from their side (it will be from my side and also from their side). Also it is a comedy show. Don’t know what will become a big deal by taking it and then it will all happen that aisa bol diya, wais bol diya (you never know which statement can fly). I didn’t want to make an issue. Krishna further said that he never questioned Kapil Sharma and the creative team on his decision to invite Govinda and said, “Why should the team spoil their relationship with Govinda? This is not the first time that Krishna has avoided working with Govinda in TKKS on the show. Last November also he had opted out of episodes featuring Govinda.
After that, Govinda issued a statement addressing the ‘derogatory remarks’ made by Krishna. “I am very sad to talk about this publicly, but this is the right time for the truth to come out. I read reports about my nephew (Krishna Abhishek) not performing in a TV show because I was invited as a guest. He also told about our relationship.
