KRK’s reaction to Manoj Bajpayee’s defamation case: ‘Bollywood is obsessed with me’

After Manoj Bajpayee filed a criminal defamation case against him in an Indore court, Kamal R Khan on Thursday said he feels ‘the time has come to quit Twitter again’. He further added that he feels Bollywood is obsessed with him.

In a tweet, KRK said that Sunil Pal had said the same thing about Manoj’s web series Family Man 2 as he had said but the actor did not take any action against the comedian. And hence he believes that the people of Bollywood are jealous and crazy about him.

Earlier, Kamal R Khan had claimed that he had not received any notice from the court. He also asked why Manoj Bajpayee filed a defamation case against him in Indore and not in Mumbai.

Manoj Bajpayee on Tuesday filed a criminal defamation complaint against actor Kamal Rashid Khan alias KRK in an Indore court for posting an alleged defamatory tweet against him, his lawyer said. Bajpai filed a criminal complaint against Khan (46) in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) under section 500 (punishment for defamation) of the IPC.

Bajpai’s lawyer Paresh S Joshi said in a press release that he urged the court to file a criminal defamation case in the matter. Joshi said the tweet in question was posted by Khan on July 26 and it defames the 52-year-old actor and tarnished his image among his fans. He said Bajpayee personally appeared in the court to record his statement.
