KRK announces Deshdrohi 2, promises it will be bigger than Baahubali; Netizens tease ‘KGF 2’s record in danger’

Kamal R Khan, popularly known as KRK, is now returning to acting. Almost 14 years after Deshdrohi released and flopped, KRK announced Deshdrohi 2. The actor-self-proclaimed critic shared a poster of the upcoming film on Instagram and Twitter and made the announcement. In the poster, KRK gave his famous anti-national pose, while an unknown actor posed behind him with a gun in his hand.

On the poster, KRK compared Deshdrohi 2 to SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, claiming that his film will be bigger than the Prabhas starrer. The poster also mentions that the film will be helmed, directed and produced by KRK. Sharing the poster, KRK wrote, “Shooting to start soon!”

It is no surprise that many social media users took to the comment section and trolled KRK. One user wrote, ‘Hahaha one comedy film releasing soon. Referring to Yash’s KGF Chapter 2, a user teased, “KGF 2 ka record khatron mein ab (KGF 2 records are in danger.).” “Yeh sir want to make James Bond..pose be they de re (He wants to be James Bond, he’s posing like him too,” added another.

The first anti-national film was directed by Jagdish A Sharma and produced by KRK. Along with the actor leading the film, the film also starred Manoj Tiwari, Hrishita Bhatt, Gracy Singh and Zulfi Syed. The film focused on the difficulties faced by immigrants in Mumbai. The film bombed at the box office and critics criticized the film. India Today reported that the traitor was also banned in Maharashtra under the Bombay Cinema Regulation Act. The producers moved the Bombay High Court to fight against the ban and finally, two months later, the film was released in the state.
