The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) on Saturday released the investigation report after nearly a year into the plane crash in Kerala’s Kozhikode in August last year. According to the report, the possible reason for the Air India Express plane crash could be the pilot’s non-compliance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). However, the report also said that the role of systemic failures in the accident cannot be ignored.

Let us tell you that on 7 August 2020, the Boeing 737-800 plane crashed. 190 passengers were on board at the time of the accident. The plane overshot the runway while trying to land at Kerala’s Kozhikode airport amid heavy rain.
