Kozhikode plane accident: Revealed in the investigation report- Pilot’s non-compliance of SOP was the probable cause of the accident, last year 21 people lost their lives

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) on Saturday released the investigation report after nearly a year into the plane crash in Kerala’s Kozhikode in August last year. According to the report, the possible reason for the Air India Express plane crash could be the pilot’s non-compliance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). However, the report also said that the role of systemic failures in the accident cannot be ignored.
