The active caseload in the country has come down to 26,240. They account for 0.06 per cent of the total positive cases in the country, according to government data.
With 3,196 being cured in the last 24 hours, the number of people cured of coronavirus infection increased to 4,24,65,122. As a result, the recovery rate improved to 98.74 per cent.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.41 percent, while the weekly positivity rate was 0.41 percent, the ministry said.

More than 17 lakh vaccine doses have been given to children in the age group of 12-14, whose immunization began on March 16.
