Hyderabad: Telangana 162 new Kovid-19 cases and 1 death were recorded on Sunday.
The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,67,887 and the death toll is 3,930.
The number of active cases in the state is 4,235.
A total of 214 patients were cured on Sunday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,59,772. The case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is 98.76 percent.
Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.77 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.2 per cent have been symptomatic.
33,506 samples were tested for Covid-19 on Sunday. Telangana has now completed testing 2.67 crore samples and has reached to 7.19 lakh sample tests per million population.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 55 cases on Sunday, while neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri 10 cases registered Ranga Reddy 11 cases were registered and Sanga Reddy 5 cases registered
Outside Hyderabad city and its outskirts, Karimnagar reported the maximum number of cases with 10 new infections.
