Kolkata: Final inspection of pandal from today. Kolkata News – Times of India

Kolkata: Kolkata Police will begin its final inspection of pandals from Monday with the help of fire brigade and other utility providers like CESC.
For the first day, the team has chosen 18 pandals that are either located close to busy intersections or are directly visible from the road. Some of them, including one from Behala, struggled to cope with the crowd last year. The team will be headed by Joint CP (HQ) Shubhankar Sinha Sarkar.
The police plan to start the inspection from the Bospukur Sheetla temple in the town before going to Ekdaliya and Babubagan. Deshapriya Park, Badamtala Ashar Sangha in Rasbihari and three in Haridevpur are included in the list of worship. Thereafter, senior officials will go to Behala and will visit Barisha Club and Natun Dal before stopping at Suruchi Sangha. The second half will see inspections at Mohammad Ali Park, Santosh Mitra Square and College Square in central Kolkata and Kumartuli Park in north Kolkata.
On Sunday, the local OC and traffic guard OC met the organizers of these 18 pandals and asked them to share their plans.
