Koilwar-Buxar four-lane road to be ready by year-end: Min. Patna News – Times of India

ARA: The construction of the 92 km long Koilwar-Bhojpur-Buxar four-lane road is likely to be completed by the end of this year, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari Said in written reply to BJP MP Sushil Kumar Modi in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.
Gadkari said the Patna-Gaya-Dobhi four-lane road would be completed by March 31 next year and the Ara-Mohaniya four-lane road by July 16 next year.
He said that Bakhtiyarpur-Mokama four-lane road would also be ready by the end of this year.
Gadkari said that 27 per cent physical progress has been made in the construction of Patna-Gaya-Dobhi four lane road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1,610 crore.
Similarly, 40 per cent physical progress has been made in the Ara-Mohaniya four lane road worth Rs 1,390 crore.

Similarly, 72 percent work has been completed on Bhojpur-Buxar four lane road. Project Director of Koilwar-Bhojpur four lane road, Rakesh KumarSaid that the construction work would be completed by April. Meanwhile, only 40 per cent of the work on Bakhtiyarpur-Mokama four lane has been completed at a cost of Rs 837 crore. The Union Minister, however, said that the project would be completed by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, the construction of a 1.5-km-long six-lane bridge over the Son river, part of the Patna-Ara-Buxar four-lane project, is also likely to be completed by this month.
Vehicular movement on the bridge has already started on three lanes, while the remaining three lanes are likely to be opened for commuters by the end of this month.
