Filmmaker Karan Johar’s talk show is one of the most talked about shows in the industry. After a long wait, Karan is finally back with Season 7 of the show on Disney Plus Hotstar. The show marked its return on 7 July Alia Bhatt And Ranveer Singh as the first guest. While fans were wondering if Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan Will be a part of the show. In his recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Karan Johar finally spilled the beans and confirmed that Aamir Khan will grace Koffee With Karan 7.
During their conversation, KJo also revealed that Shah Rukh Khan will be quitting this season. Talking about the show, he said, “Shah Rukh, I think it should really explode at Pathan’s time itself. So I know he is not doing much, not facing any media right now and This is the best decision for them because when Pathan comes, there is going to be a tsunami at the box office. Shahrukh Khan has kept people waiting and wanting and the more they wait, the more they will actually give back in terms of love, I believe he is the biggest star of our country.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, Vicky Kaushal And Sidharth Malhotra is also rumored to be gracing the ‘Coffee Couch’ together. While Shah Rukh will miss the show, his wife Gauri Khan will return to the show along with Maheep Kapoor and Bhavna Pandey. However, an official confirmation about this is yet to come.
Karan begins the first episode, in which Alia and Ranveer address the ‘insult’ to Bollywood as an industry over the past two years and also hint at the boycott of Bollywood trend. While Alia and Karan shared their concerns, Ranveer was confused about what they were talking about.
The episode made several revelations including Alia Bhatt’s marriage to Ranbir Kapoor, how she reconciled with the Kapoor clan, and their sweet proposal. Ranveer, on the other hand, shared how he bonded with Deepika Padukone’s family. His talent as an excellent mimicry artist also came to the fore in the first episode when he imitated Aamir Khan, Varun Dhawan and Kartik Aaryan.
The seventh season of the popular chat show will witness celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan.
