Karan JoharThe fun chat show ‘Koffee With Karan Season 7’ is finally all set to premiere today on Disney Plus Hotstar. The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director is all set to be back on the coffee couch with his quirky questions and fun rapid-fire rounds. A few days back, the trailer was launched, in which some talented actors were seen gracing the couch – Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer singh, Alia BhattVarun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali KhanVijay Deverakonda, Samantha Prabhu, Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani to name a few. Meanwhile, the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director is promoting his chat show these days and has been revealing interesting things about celebs in various interviews. In a recent conversation, he confirmed that not only Alia-Ranbir but also Sara-Karthik’s love story started from the same couch.
In a conversation with India Today, Karan said that he is very proud that he has shown many relationships on Koffee With Karan. He talked about several stars who found their perfect match like- Vicky Kaushal and Katrina KaifAlia Bhatt and Ranbir KapoorNot only this but the filmmaker also confirmed that Sara and Kartik had also entered a relationship because of the show. Yes this is true!
Karan told the portal, “Sara and Kartik too, on the same couch, Sara admitted to having a crush on Kartik and they started dating, while Alia has opened up about her admiration for Ranbir Kapoor over the years And today she has married him. And they are going to have a beautiful child, whereas Katrina said that she thinks she would look good with Vicky Kaushal and he broke up and how beautiful is their relationship today”.
Not only this, Karan also revealed that he wants critic i say To find his special someone, so he said, “I always tell Kriti (Sanan) to name me something and it will happen.”
Coming back to the show, the first episode will welcome Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The first look of the show was shared a few days back and it gave a sneak peek of the unfiltered conversations and quirky moments that took place on the gray couch, leaving the audience to wait for more.
In the video, Alia can be seen busting myths about ‘suhagraat’. Karan also introduced a new segment of the show ‘Koffee Bingo’ and Ranveer is also seen walking out after a lewd remark made by Alia. Later, Ranveer also calls Alia a ‘stigma’ on the friendship, which leads to laughter later. At one point, Ranveer is even heard saying that they have different sex playlists, which left Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt stunned and happy.
The first episode will stream on Disney+ Hotstar on July 7.
