Where do clothes come from?
Talking about the costumes of television actors and film personalities, they are provided by production houses. These clothes are hired by the production house and given to the actors. Especially when it comes to actresses, their blouses are of normal size and they are customized according to the size of the actress before shooting.
Are clothes re-used?
Often the clothes are re-used. Production houses spend a lot of money on designing versatile costumes. So, when shooting is done, the clothes are packed and put in boxes, so that they can be re-used for other shoots. If seen carefully, many times junior actors are seen in those outfits later. It is also known that the costumes are made in a completely new way.
Do actors take costumes with them?
This rarely happens. But actors or actresses are allowed to carry the costumes or any other items that they wore during the shoot. They take it as a memoir or souvenir from the film.
