His role in Netflix’s Guilty was quite different from the role he played in his previous films. His performance was also appreciated in the controversial Kabir Singh, which was followed by Good Newwz and Indu Ki Jawaani. The actress has proved to be quite a performer in a short span of time. While there has been a lot of talk about his professional successes, very few people know that his personal life is equally interesting. Not many know that she comes with strong connections in the Hindi film industry.

Kiara was born to Jagdish Advani, a Sindhi businessman from Mumbai and her mother Genevieve Jaffrey was a teacher. Even though his parents are not related to the film industry, he once mentioned in an interview that his mother knew megastar Salman Khan as they grew up together in Bandra. It was his mother who introduced her aunt Shaheen Jaffrey to Salman. The two reportedly even dated for some time. Due to this connection, the actor guided Kiara in her early days in the industry.

Apart from Salman, the diva has other family connections in the film industry. She is the step-granddaughter of legendary actor Ashok Kumar. His mother’s stepmother Bharti Ganguly was the daughter of Ashok Kumar. She is also the granddaughter of yesteryear actor Saeed Jaffrey. Kiara’s mother is the daughter of Sayeed’s brother Hamid and his first wife who was a British citizen. Later Hamid divorced her and married Bharti.
