Kitchen Hacks: Here’s How You Can Make Cocktail Samosas With Evening Tea

New Delhi: Everyone knows that samosas and tea are the perfect combination for an evening snack. If one is a fan of famous dishes then the combination can brighten up even the dullest of days.

Let’s see the easy recipe of making Cocktail Samosa.

All purpose flour: 1 cup

Wheat Flour: 1 cup

Sugar Powder: 1 cup

salt to taste

Oil

Sugar Powder: 1 cup

coriander seeds

Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tbsp

finely chopped green chilies

Onion: 1 (finely chopped)

Green peas : 1/2 cup

Red chili powder: 1 tsp

Mango Powder: 1 tsp

Potato: 500 grams (boiled)

First of all, take equal quantity of flour and wheat flour in a bowl and add sugar powder, salt, oil and water to it. Knead this mixture gently and keep it covered for 30 minutes. Now heat oil in a pan, add coriander seeds to the oil and stir.

Then add a spoonful of ginger-garlic paste and fry for 3 minutes. Add green chilies and onions and cook them well. Now add green peas to it and let it cook for 5 minutes. Add red chili powder and mango powder, salt and mix.

After mashing the mixture well, add boiled potatoes to it. Then, add garam masala and coriander. Now make some balls from the first kneaded dough. Now roll it like a roti, then cut it from all four sides, then heat it on the pan from both the sides.

Make a thick paste by adding 2 teaspoons of all purpose flour and a teaspoon of water. Then, place the prepared potato mixture on a sheet of dough and fold it into triangles.

Apply the prepared paste to completely close their edges and close all the corners. Lastly, put oil in the pan and fry these samosas till they turn brown. Your cocktail samosas are ready, enjoy them with a nice mint chutney.
