Manomilan drama tells the story of a father (Ashok) who is looking for a groom for his daughter (Shweta Shinde). Ashoka’s character is shown as an influential person in the society and he wants to find someone who can match his status quo. Will he be able to find a good son-in-law or not becomes the main topic of Manomilan. The drama also featured themes of village politics, which was appreciated by the audience. The audience liked every aspect of the play except Shweta’s performance.

A user felt that the actress had overacted which ruined the drama. Another agreed and commented that Shweta’s body language was over the top which was spoiler even in the Marathi serial Doctor Don. She played the lead role of Dr. Monica Shrikhande in Doctor Don.

Apart from Kiran, Ashok and Shweta, Manomilan also featured actors Mohit Takalkar, Shashank Shede, Praveen Tarde and Okar Govardhan in pivotal roles. The music of this play is given by Ashok Patki.
