King Charles III, Queen Choose Bengal Designer’s Dresses For Coronation

West Bengal: Priyanka Mallick, a fashion designer from West Bengal’s Hooghly district, knew no bounds when she received a transcontinental e-mail cum appreciation letter straight from the United Kingdom, thanking her enough for designing a “butterfly brooch”. was given. Priyanka Mallick was doubled over when she learned that two of her designs found their way from a white sheet of paper to the evening party of the coronation ceremony to be held on May 7, 2023. Priyanka, 29, comes from a small village located about 50 km from Kolkata. He holds degrees from Milan, Italy, Harvard and Stanford University, USA. She is also a member of the Royal Commonwealth Society of UK.

After Priyanka received a direct invitation to be a part of King Charles III’s coronation, a symbolic ceremony that was a combination of a religious service and a pageant, her family too looked overjoyed and expressed immense happiness over her progress.

“We are very happy with her progress. A village girl has reached Buckingham Palace. I myself have received her [invitation] envelope. Priyanka’s brother Rajesh Mallick told ANI, “We have always supported her and will continue to support her.” He is in touch with London-based stylists and activists.”

“But I will attend the ceremony virtually,” she said. Priyanka was fond of designing and drawing since childhood and loved to dress up in Queen Elizabeth’s clothes. Later, her interest in fashion designing developed into a lucrative art form and after completing her twelfth grade, she virtually joined international fashion designing courses and got recognition for her work.
