Kinetic to launch e-Luna in market for Rs 70,000; Know date, price

New Delhi: Kinetic is preparing to introduce its e-Luna in this segment. It is a low speed vehicle with a maximum speed of 50 kmph on the road. At present, the company has not made any disclosure about its launch date or price. It is expected to be available in the market for Rs 70,000 after the central government’s FAME-2 discount.

Efforts have been made to give the Kinetic e-Luna an attractive look. It has dashing looks and comfortable seat styling. According to the information, this first car was introduced in 1972. At that time it came with a 49-cc two-stroke petrol engine. It had 2.2 PS of power and 4.2 Nm of peak torque. Now after almost 51 years, it is being presented in a new tremendous avatar.

The Kinetic e-Luna will compete with the TVS XL100 in the market. Considering the ever-increasing demand for electric two-wheelers in the Indian market, Kinetic has decided to introduce them in EV form. It will be introduced before December 2023.

Advanced features on the Kinetic e-Luna include an LCD with Bluetooth connectivity, square headlights, and taillights with LED indicator bulbs. For a comfortable ride, it will get telescopic front forks and rear dual shock suspension. Keeping in mind the safety, drum brakes will be given on both the wheels.
