STF in-charge Hukum Singh said that Happy Khanna, a resident of Kamalanagar, was caught in the kidnapping case of Sachin on Sunday night. When questioned, he confessed to the crime. Happy told that he along with Sumit Aswani, Manoj Bansal and Rinku had kidnapped Sachin from Rinku’s car from near the house. Sachin knew him, so there was no shouting. He was strangled to death in the car itself.

Police said that Harsh Chauhan, a resident of Dayalbagh, used to do contract work in partnership with Sachin and his father Suresh Chauhan. Here, he had a lot of loss in Corona. Sachin’s contractor friend Sumit Aswani owed Sachin Rs 40 lakh and could not get it back even after asking for a long time.
Harsh involves Sumit in the conspiracy and promises that after the kidnapping, he will mediate and get a ransom of two crores. Of this, one crore will be his and one crore will be given to him. For some reason even if the ransom is not received, he will give Rs 40 lakh to Sumit due to Sachin. After this Sumit along with his associates Rinku, Manoj and Happy carried out the crime.
