Rohit Shetty confessed that shooting for “raw and real stunts” in Khatron Ke Khiladi makes him relive his teen as a stuntman.
Ace director Rohit Shetty is all set to make a comeback as the host of Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14. Currently, he’s deeply immersed in filming a stunt-based reality show in Romania. During this shoot, Rohit Shetty is nostalgic about his teenage years when he worked as a stuntman. Recently, the Singham director took to Instagram to share snapshots from the show’s sets along with an intriguing message
The first picture showcases Rohit Shetty posing for a candid click in an all-black ensemble. It is followed by a frame that captures the director amid a perilous setting involving a truck and a flaming car. The short note attached to the pictures read, “KHATRON KE KHILADI RAW AND REAL STUNTS… THAT’S WHAT I LIKE ABOUT MY SHOW… Makes me relive my teen as a stuntman.”
The Golmaal director’s captivating pictures prompted reactions from the contestants of his show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 including Sumona Chakravarti and Aashish Mehrotra. Arjit Taneja who participated in the 13th season of the show, also dropped a handful of emojis in the comment section. While Sumona penned, “Whoaaaaa,” Mehrotra dropped some fire emojis.
Rohit Shetty’s fondness for Khtaron Ke Khiladi is public knowledge. Earlier this month, the Sooryavanshi director reflected on his journey as the host of the reality show through an Instagram post. The post comprised a photo featuring the filmmaker as he performed a stunt involving a helicopter. He accompanied the snapshot with a short caption that read, “Shooting For Another Season Of Khatron Ke Khiladi In Romania. Its Been 10 Years Hosting This Show Thank You For The Love You All Have Given Me And This Show All These Years.” He also added a red heart, hug and folded hands emojis to his note.
Meanwhile, the contestants including Aditi Sharma, Shalin Bhanot, Abhishek Kumar, Tania Shroff, Gashmeer Mahajani, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Kedar Aashish Mehrotra, Niyati Fatnani and Karan Veer Mehra jetted off to Romania last month to participate in the show. It will soon air on Colors TV and will be available to watch on Jio Cinema as well.
