Claiming that the situation is normal in the riot-hit area in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, the district administration has partially-relaxed the curfew in two intervals.

While there will be rest from 10 am to 12 noon, people can also run work between 3 pm to 5 pm.

However, the administration has given permission to open shops selling essential items like grocery, medicines, vegetables, fruits etc. Clear instructions have been issued against those gathering in large groups.

A close watch is being kept on the movements of people coming out to buy daily necessities. Earlier, only women were allowed to buy essential commodities, although men were also given exemption in view of the situation.
