Yash’s KGF Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 2
Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2 has made a bang on the big screen. The sequel to the 2018 Kannada action film was long awaited by the fans. Ever since its release on April 15, fans have been queuing outside the theaters and most of the shows are going housefull. The Prashanth Neel directorial has already broken many records by becoming the biggest opener in India and has cemented its position as one of the biggest Indian films of all time. Released in over 12,000 screens worldwide in 70 countries in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. The film earned Rs 165 crore on the first day at the worldwide box office. The Hindi version of the film earned Rs 44 crore on the second day.
According to Box Office India, “KGF 2 (Hindi) has made a super strong hold on the second day as the collections are likely to be in the 43-44 crore nett range which will take the film to around 96 crore nett in two days. The film’s second The day will still be one of the most single days and will probably be the sixth or seventh. There will probably be another drop on Saturday and it remains to be seen how far it will go on Sunday as mass circuits will be redeployed in large numbers. “
While massive advance bookings played a major role in the grand opening the film was expecting, the actual opening numbers bear testimony to the ever-increasing ‘KGF’ fever and all this despite the ongoing Ramzan season and the current pandemic situation. .
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the historic opening of KGF Chapter 2. He tweeted, “‘KGF2’ Day 1: ₹134.50 Cr… #KGF2 breaks all records on Day 1… Gross ₹134.50 Cr Gross BOC [#India biz; ALL versions]…official poster announcement…”

KGF Chapter 2 stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon in lead roles, while Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, John Cocaine and Saran appear in supporting roles.
