This week, the Kannada film industry is set to witness the release of several highly anticipated films, promising an exciting treat for fans of South Indian cinema. Among these releases is the re-release of the late Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar’s iconic film. Here’s a rundown of all the films expected to hit the screens on March 15, along with more details:
Jackie (2010 film)
The Puneeth Rajkumar starrer is slated for a re-release this week. In celebration of the late actor’s birthday on March 17, the makers have decided to bring back the film, 14 years after its original release.
Directed by Duniya Soori, Jackie featured Puneeth Rajkumar and Bhavana in the lead roles, supported by Sumithra, Harshika Poonacha, and Rangayana Raghu.

This Kannada film is all set for its theatrical release on March 15. Directed by Rajguru B., the movie stars Gowrishankar and Bindu Shivaram in the lead roles, with Gopalkrishna Deshpande and Sampath Maitreya in supporting roles.
Produced by Jaishankar Patel under the banner of Janamana Cinemas, the film boasts music by Gagan Baderia and cinematography by Keerthan Poojary.
