KBC13: Rajkummar Rao on his struggle to become an actor, told Big B, there was never a plan B

The actors will be seen in Friday’s special episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’ Raj Kumar Rao And masterpiece i say as a special guest. in conversation with the host Amitabh BachchanIn this, Rajkumar throws light on his acting career and the struggles of his life. Rajkummar shares: “Sir, it was during my school days that I decided that I wanted to act in films. There was never a plan B. I was actively involved in martial arts, dance and did school level classes. I used to take part in plays as well. I used to watch your movies, movies of many other actors and I thought I wanted to enter this entertainment world itself.”

He adds: “Then, I started doing theater work in Gurgaon and when it came to my graduation, I took admission in DU’s South Campus just because I used to go to Mandi House to do theatre.”

The actor further talks about his theater work and how he used to cycle.

Rao adds: “At times, when we didn’t get bus passes, I used to cycle and go up and down about 70 kms from Mandi House to Mayur Vihar and back to Gurgaon. It’s a very filmy story sir. But, I used to have a Walkman and when I used to ride a cycle, I used to listen to inspirational and movie songs like ‘Lakshya toh har haal paana hai’, ‘Papa kehte hai bada naam’, ‘Chand Taare Tod Dunga’, And I’ve never used to feel tired.”

“I used to enjoy it a lot because I felt that this is the time when I need to do a lot of work. If I get lazy now, then after 10 years I don’t want to say ‘I wish I had done mehendi kar li’. So I had a goal that I wanted to do.”

KBC 13’s ‘Shaandaar Friday’ will air on Sony Entertainment Television.
