Geeta Singh Gaur, a housewife from Madhya Pradesh, is the newly minted crorepati in Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 13. The Gwalior-dweller quits after failing to answer the Rs 7 crore question asked by host Amitabh Bachchan. Geeta is the third crorepati of this season after Himani Bundela and Sahil Ahirwar. Till the question of Rs 1 crore, he had used only two lifelines and answered 15 questions correctly.
Geeta had two lifelines left when she was presented with a question of Rs 1 crore. However, she opted not to use any lifeline and answered the question confidently, impressing everyone. His confidence and wisdom also earned him praise from Bachchan, who gave him a standing ovation while handing over a check of Rs 1 crore.

The question of Rs 7 crore was: Which of the following is not one of the names of three grandsons of Akbar when he was briefly converted to Christianity after being handed over to Jesuit priests? There were four choices – Don Felipe, Don Henrique, Don Carlos and Don Francisco. Not knowing the correct answer, Geeta decided to quit the game at this point. After leaving, he guessed Don Henrique as the answer, but the correct answer was Don Francisco.

Geeta has been trying to come on the prestigious platform of KBC for almost 17 years. This year he got a chance to make his dream come true. She was preparing for many years but when she came to know that she was shortlisted, she intensified her preparation. Geeta got married at an early age and after 13 years of marriage, she studied law and got her LLB degree.
Speaking to IANS after his win, Geeta said, “It was a great feeling to meet Mr. Bachchan. I didn’t come with any expectations, winning one crore was really a big achievement for me.”
