The pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani, the son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, took place in Jamnagar, Gujarat from March 1st to March 3rd. Dignitaries from various fields such as sports, films, and technology graced these events with their presence. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were there too for the second and third days of the three-day-long event. Not only did the couple serve major fashion goals but also enjoyed the events with full fervour. As the festivities came to an end, Katrina Kaif dropped the las pictures from Jamnagar and extended gratitude and best wishes for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
On Monday, Katrina Kaif took to her Instagram handle and shared a gorgeous picture in which both of them are looking regal in suave ethnic outfits. While Katrina sported a striking white saree, Vicky Kaushal oozed grandeur in a white salwar kameez paired with a colourful shawl. Vicky Kaushal opened up about Katrina Kaif in a new interview and describe what it is to be in love with her. Vicky married Katrina in December 2021. The couple secretly dated for a while before they exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony in Rajasthan. While the couple has now spoken about their relationship and marriage in previous interviews, Vicky compared his love for Katrina with a calm rainy day that leaves you feeling nothing but content.
“Imagine it’s your day off. It’s raining outside. A beautiful calm has taken over and there’s nothing, absolutely nothing that is making you fear a future or regret the past. You’re just present. You feel absolutely content. When I’m with her, that’s what happens. I don’t feel like rushing anywhere. It’s simply the best feeling,” Vicky told GQ India.
“I used to think the day I met the person who I could sit silently with for hours and not feel the silence, that was going to be my person. With Katrina, it’s that feeling. She’s home. From our initial days of dating when there was heady excitement every time we met to now, two and a half years after marriage, that feeling hasn’t changed. And I’m somebody who hasn’t ever been overtly romantic. But she makes me one,” he added.
“The feeling of being loved, being taken care of, and in return, caring and loving someone deeply, I just love that aspect of love. Emotionally, rationally, when I’m with her, I feel, ye sahi hai (this is right),” Vicky said.
The actor added that while he is stubborn, more practical person in the relationship, Katrina is the emotional one. Vicky has often spoken about Katrina being the emotional person in their relationship. In an interview with Film Companion last year, Vicky said that she is practical when it comes to work but is emotional and sensitive when it comes to her personal life.
