Terrorist incidents have come to the fore amid the government’s campaign to resettle Kashmiri Pandits displaced from Kashmir. Terrorists have attacked seven people in two days, two of them are Kashmiri Pandits. These attacks are a blow to the claim of improving conditions in the Valley.

Terrorists attacked Kashmiri Pandit Sonu Kumar Balji on Monday evening in Chitragam of Shopian district. He has been hit by three bullets. Sonu, who was injured in a critical condition, has been taken to a hospital in Srinagar for treatment. Medical store operator Sonu did not leave the Valley even during the peak of terrorism in the nineties. He was living in Kashmir for the last 30 years.

In the last 24 hours, terrorists have shot 7 people in different incidents. Workers from other states are involved in Pulwama and 2 CRPF jawans in Srinagar. Two CRPF personnel were injured in a terrorist attack in Maisuma, Srinagar. One of them died during treatment.
