New Delhi: Two unidentified terrorists killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district Jammu And Kashmir Jammu and Kashmir Police gave this information on Wednesday.
“One of the slain terrorists has been identified Adil Ah Wani, which was active since July 2020. He was involved in the murder of a poor laborer in the litter. Pulwama,” said IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar.
He said that 15 terrorists have been neutralized so far in two weeks.
A police official said the security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Drgad area of Shopian district following information about the presence of terrorists.
The search operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists opened fire on the retaliated security forces.
The official said that two militants have been killed. He said the identity and affiliation of the slain terrorists is being ascertained.
