a report by spotboye e It is mentioned that Kartik was shooting for the climax of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with co-star Tabu and the scene required a huge undertaking, with a lot of drama and action where the actor had to scream and shout. By the time the actor was performing the scene, his voice was gone. One of the crew members told Spotboye that the incident was “horrific” and the filming team panicked.
The actor was given immediate medical help and the doctor’s diagnosis revealed that Kartik’s voice needed some rest due to laryngitis and was not too severe. The cast and crew heaved a sigh of relief when doctors assured that Kartik’s voice just needed some time to recover.
Reportedly, director Bazmee described it as an experience that would be “hard to forget”. The filmmaker said that the team was fully charged as they saw Tabu and Kartik play against each other in a highly dramatic scene and everyone was stunned. Bazmee appreciated Kartik’s passion and said that the actor is always ready to take risks for a perfect shot. “His voice was gone from all the outcry. But he seemed adamant,” said Bazmee.
The shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 started in 2019. The film also stars Kiara Advani as Kartik’s romantic interest, while Rajpal Yadav will reprise his role of the eccentric devotee from Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Actor Sanjay Mishra will also star in the horror-comedy. Earlier this year, Kartik took to his Instagram account to share a picture from the sets of the film in which he was seen with Rajpal.
In the caption of the picture, Kartik revealed that the film will release on November 19 this year.
