A recent report states that Kartik Aaryan might be joining forces with Vishal Bhardwaj for a gritty thriller.
Kartik Aaryan is currently one of the most bankable actors in the industry. He has been shooting back to back with different directors. From Chandu Champion, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to Aashiqui 3, the actor has an interesting lineup of films ahead of him. And now a recent report has revealed that Kartik might collaborate with the veteran director Vishal Bhardwaj for a gritty thriller.
As per a source close to the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama, Kartik Aaryan is currently in talks with Bhardwaj for an exciting project, that might release sometime in 2025. The source told the portal, “Kartik Aaryan is balancing his line-up. He did back-to-back commercial films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Shehzada and followed it up with an intense love story like Satyaprem Ki Katha. He is now looking to take things a notch higher by getting into conversations with National Award-Winning director, Vishal Bhardwaj. It’s a gritty thriller and the duo are jamming well on the subject.”
The source also revealed that this film might be releasing in 2025, “While the last few Vishal Bhardwaj films have been released on digital platforms, his next with Kartik Aaryan will be released on the big screen. It will be his first theatrical release after Pathaaka.”
Kartik Aaryan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming horror comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the film also stars Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles and is all set to hit the theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2024. Apart from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik will also be seen in director Kabir Khan’s next Chandu Champion and in producer Karan Johar’s next untitled project which will be helmed by Sandeep Modi. Deets about the film are yet to be revealed.
