Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2021, the England cricket team made a strong statement registering a 2-1 series win over Pakistan. Impressed by the performance given by England in the T20I series, veteran seamer Stuart Broad has predicted that Morgan’s men are the favorites to win the T20 World Cup set to be played later this year.
Broad believes that the current ODI world champions England have a strong side.
He said, ‘I was there watching Morges (Eoin Morgan) lift the trophy and I think we are going to win the World Cup, we have a lot of grounds. We have so much depth, they play fearless cricket, it looks like we are going to win the World Cup,” said Stuart Broad sky game.
However, Broad’s prediction resulted in trolls from West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo and former Indian cricketer Murali Karthik.

Karthik went a step further and trolled Broad by reminding him of the Euro 2020 final loss to Italy. The veteran spinner made a comment saying that England have a habit of making fun of their team and dreaming of winning the tournament.
“I think England make fun of their own team by saying that they are coming home for everything, even if the trophy is millions of miles away,” Karthik said.
