Residents informed us that it was roaming the main streets of the city. We found it nearby abc Office at KM Road. Later this Matavara went near the forest. Now it is inside the local forest,” he said.

According to residents, this elephant was roaming in the villages on the outskirts of the city for the last two days. On Monday morning it roamed the streets of the city extension, mugthihalli, andesarahalli, Uppalli, Indavara, Adarshnagar and Nallur Gate areas
According to forest department officials, the elephant must have come from Belur. “We will follow it again towards the forest towards Belur,” the officials said.
