Bengaluru: Around 8.5 lakh students appeared in this exam SSLC Tests on Monday, a better turnout than last year’s Monday was the first of two papers – with the other – on languages - scheduled for Thursday.

Last year the attendance percentage in Mathematics, Science and Social Science was 98.30 percent, 98.36 percent and 98.43 percent respectively.
The exam was conducted at 4,885 centers across the state and 111 candidates showing symptoms like cough and cold were made to sit in special rooms. Another 58 Kovid-positive students also appeared for the exam from covid care centerWhile 2,870 took the exam from government and private hostels. A total of 10,693 students had changed their exam center after migrating to a different part of the state.
The minister said that not a single case of malpractice has come to light.
