Karnataka: Seven people feared to have suffered burns after a bus caught fire in Kalaburagi.

Seven people in a private bus are feared to have suffered burn injuries in a road accident near Kamalapura town in the early hours of Friday (June 3), police said. The fire started after an accident between the bus and the tempo track.

29 passengers in the bus were going from Goa to Hyderabad.

According to police sources, 22 passengers managed to escape from the bus which was completely burnt by the fire.

The injured have been admitted to various hospitals in Kalaburgi and are undergoing treatment.

Sources said that the driver of the tempo truck was also seriously injured.
