In a major development in the Karnataka Police Sub-Inspector scam, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested senior IPS officer Amrit Paul. Amrit Paul was the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) of the State Police Recruitment Wing when the scam happened.
According to a police source, Amrit Paul’s arrest was due to evidence of rigging in a strong room and tampering with the question paper as well as the OMR sheet.
