Karnataka: Four patients with Delta+ variant have been cured in Mysore district. Mysuru News – Times of India

Mysuru: During the second wave of COVID, 12 cases of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome (MSI)MIS-C) was reported among children at Government Cheluvamba Hospital. While one child succumbed to the infection, the others were successfully treated.
Dr Nanjaraj CP, Dean and Director, Mysore Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Institute said that the treatment for MIS-C is available in the hospital.
DHO Dr MR Ravi said that in neighboring Chamarajanagar district, where many children were infected in the second wave, there were no such complications.
Meanwhile, four persons were found infected Delta Plus Edition in Mysore District. Deputy Commissioner Baghdi Gautam said that out of the four patients, two are men and two are women. All four patients have recovered. The first case of Delta Plus variant, which was a matter of concern in the country, was first reported in the district on Tuesday. The youth tested positive on June 2. He was asymptomatic. According to officials, the contacts of all the patients are being traced and isolated. Genome sequencing has been done in Bangalore. Meanwhile, the positivity rate in the district came down to 8.5 percent on Wednesday.
